Help

Every issue below can be solved by logging in and going to My Books and:
  • Using the Download button if enabled or
  • Clicking Regenerate and waiting for the Download button to be enabled
Check your spam folder. If it's not there:
  1. Login with your locatepress.com account and click on the "My Books" link.
  2. Find your book in the list and click the Download button
  3. If the Download button is not active, click Regenerate and wait for your book to build, then click Download.
Generated books are only retained for 5--7 days. If you don't download it before then, it is deleted. See How do I regenerate/download my book? for instructions on how to get it.
  • Once the final version is published, login with your locatepress.com account and click on the "My Books" link.
  • Find the book and click "Regenerate"
  • Wait for the Download button to become active, then download the book
  • Login with your locatepress.com account and click on the "My Books" link.
  • Find your book in the list and click the Download button
  • If the Download button is not active, click "Regenerate" and wait for your book to build, then click Download.

This can be solved by regenerating your book. One regeneration should fix the problem, but if not, do an additional one. This is not a common problem, but has been seen in the second edition of QGIS Map Design.

  • Login with your locatepress.com account and click on the "My Books" link.
  • Find your book in the list and click the Regenerate button
  • Wait for your book to build, then click Download.
